Publishing Charge - FAQs Why jESE
has article processing charges (APC)? jESE publishes all papers in full open access format. The readers can unlimitedly and immediately access all published content for free as soon as it is published on the journal website. This means that jESE does not have any income by selling the subscriptions to printed or online versions of articles or from "pay-per-view" fees. Therefore, we are supposed to pay our editorial and production costs by collecting APC from authors, authors' institutions or research funding bodies. jESE is willing to keep its open access publication charges at a minimum level. How much does jESE charge for article processing? Presently there is no charge for the publication in jESE. A separate English editing charge of 250.00 € (Euros) will be applied to articles that require extensive English language editing or formatting. Non-native English-speaking colleagues are encouraged to use a professional English editing service before submitting the manuscript. How one can keep away from the
English editing surcharge? To avoid English editing surcharge, non-native English-speaking authors are encouraged to send their manuscripts to a professional English editing service prior to the submission of their manuscript to the Journal Office. We suggest below listed manuscript editing services. These language editing services will issue a certificate to attest that authors used their services to improve the language and style of a manuscript. The certificate should be included alongside the submission. Authors from developing countries are encouraged to register with AuthorAid, a global
research community that provides networking, mentoring, resources and
training for researchers in developing countries. English editing services: AcademicWord Stallard Scientific Editing
